The body of the mug measures arroximately 90mm across and the height to the top of the handle is around 90mm. Each one is handmade therefore no two mugs are identical. The shape, size and glaze application will vary slightly between each item.
To make it I started off with a ball of red earthenware clay which I threw on a potters wheel and then I added on a decorative handle. The handle was made by rolling a coil of clay in a mold taken from a vintage cut glass dish. Liquid white clay, called slip, was poured inside to give it bright fresh interior and then it was fired. It was decorated with leadfree, foodsafe glaze and then the hand drawn decal was fired into the smooth glazed surface.

Small orders may be ready to send within a day or two but please allow up to 4 weeks for larger orders to be made. It will be delivered first class so will take 1 - 2 days. Larger orders will be sent via Parcelforce 48 and will take 2 - 3 days.
