Individually thrown and hand modelled from vitrified earthenware, wave lines were carved through clay slip (a process called sgraffito) and it was double dipped in blue and white toned glazes. The sgraffito carved area is glazed in the recessed lines with a raw unglazed area surrounding the lines.
My fishing boat illustration was reproduced as a decal and fired on to the glazed surface.
